Dusty Kid plays with the rumored M4L Clip launcher that is supposedly part of the upcoming Lemur OS

This link was anonymously posted by someone on this site. The video allegedly shows the new clip launcher that is to be integrated into the new Lemur OS.

The sources I have spoke to seem to corroborate the fact that this is the real thing. It is hard to make out all of the controls in the video. But from what I can see, it seems that  there is a grid to represent the Live clips and scene launching and scroll bars for scrolling the clips. It looks nice! I think it would be great to not have to look at your laptop and just be able to control everything from a single touch screen. It's getting very exciting! I can't wait to see how these rumors play out...

max4live.info rumor mill: Jazzmutant Lemur and Max For Live Integration

Jazzmutant's Lemur could possibly be one of the most innovative control surfaces that exists so far. They have worked very hard on creating a platform that not only gives you a multitouch screen, but also gives you ways to interact with the screen. The existing operating system provides capabilities like physics that allow you to create movement based energy, force and other parameters. Additionally, the Lemur comes with a nice Javascript implementation for creating other interactive elements.

This is where the Lemur is right now. But, Where is it going? Max4live.info has recently spoke to a lot of people in the industry and we have gathered some information that seems pretty consistent across the board. As a disclaimer, we have to say that this information is still rumor and speculation, but we believe it to be pretty close to the truth.
